Adrian Koesters

Omaha, Nebraska

Poet and novelist Adrian Koesters was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised there and in Bellingham, Washington. She earned her MFA from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University and PhD from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Koesters is the author of two collections of poetry, Many Parishes (BrickHouse Books, 2013) and Three Days with the Long Moon (BrickHouse Books, 2017), the novel Union Square (Apprentice House, 2018), and the nonfiction work Healing Mysteries: A Scriptural Rosary (Paulist Press, 2005).

Koesters is a former assistant editor for Prairie Schooner and Ted Kooser’s “American Life in Poetry” newspaper column. She is currently grants editor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
